On Wednesday 26th March 2025, at The Morning Advertiser Publican Awards 2025, The Coaching Inn Group won Best Accommodation Operator!

Facing some excellent competition from well respected names in hospitality, we managed to come out on top, and take home the honour, with the award presented by none other than Claudia Winkleman! (we always seem to win when Claudia is presenting, maybe she’s our good luck charm?!)

Speaking of the win, COO, Adam Charity said ‘The Publican Awards recognise the best of the best in this industry. To be named a finalist in not one, but two categories was a huge honour’. He continued: ‘To win Best Accommodation Operator with an extremely competitive list of finalists is simply amazing. This is for everyone at The Coaching Inn Group. Your skill and hard work has won us this award. Thank you very much’.

This award is a testament to our values, and our long standing ethos of ‘Hospitality From The Heart’. No individual won this award, collectively, as a strong, collective of people, working towards the same goal, we did this together. It’s still so fulfilling and exciting every time we win an award, it’s not a feeling that gets old, and it’s moments like this that drive us as a team, to do better, work harder, and improve every day for our valued guests.

We were also a finalist for ‘Best Pub Employer‘, and whilst we didn’t win this time, we’re still extremely proud to be a finalist in that category, and it’s motivated us even more for next year. We’ve got a whole host of initiatives in store for our amazing teams, more apprenticeships, more training & development programmes, more opportunities, all in the name of continuing to create a culture of excellence.

So, what’s next? Well, that’d be MORE AWARDS! The next awards ceremony you’ll hear about, is the 2025 edition of The Coaching Inn Group Awards. Emanating from The Engine Shed, Lincoln, we gather as a team, to celebrate a year of achievement, excellence, to acknowledge the very best in our company, and to party like only hospitality workers know how!
