Following an extensive refurbishment of the restaurant, bar and public areas, King William IV, Sedgeford has reopened its doors to the public, joining The Royal Wells, Tunbridge Wells, and The Saracens Head, Great Dunmow as the latest additions to The Coaching Inn Group estate.
After acquiring King William IV in January, The Coaching Inn Group set out to give the King William IV it’s own distinctive style & identity. Work also remains underway upstairs, with it’s 9 bedrooms currently receiving a makeover with all the classic Coaching Inn Group comforts, characterful furnishings, and modern amenities.
A complete refresh of all public areas was always on the cards, and it’s not just the building with a refurbishment! Work has gone into a revamped dining menu & beverage offering, as well as team members being given the ‘Hospitality From The Heart’ induction, with training & development taking place whilst the works were underway. The reopening was marked with a ceremonial cutting of the ribbon, by Parish Council Chairperson, Sue Crump.
Coaching Inn Group CEO, Adam Charity said he was delighted with how the refurbishment has gone to date, and can’t wait to see what 2024 and beyond brings for King William IV General Manager, Bruce Ingle and his team.
