The Warwick Arms Hotel has reopened its doors following a £1.7 million refurbishment that was completed on Wednesday 12th November by the award-winning Coaching Inn Group – recently named Hotel Group of the Year by Which?, the consumer champion.
Situated in the heart of Warwick, the historic hotel now blends timeless charm with modern comfort, creating a stylish destination for locals and visitors to stay, dine and relax.
The hotel staff were joined by Councillor Jackie D’Arcy at a reopening event on Thursday 13th November, where friends of the hotel and members of the community enjoyed live music, a taste of the new menu, and an exclusive look around the site.
The refreshed Warwick Arms now features 40 beautifully renovated, individually-styled bedrooms and bathrooms, along with an overhaul of the lobby & reception, with a redesigned bar, lounge area, all-new restaurant and the addition of a brand-new coffee shop, complete with log burning fires, cosy corners and elegant finishes.
A new-look restaurant is serving locally inspired dishes and seasonal menus showcasing the best of Warwickshire’s produce, with pub classics such as Fish & Chips and Pie of the Day, alongside elevated plates including Braised Rich Beef Shin, Chestnut Mushroom Ragu Pappardelle, and Apple Cider Glazed Duck Breast.
James Brown, General Manager of The Warwick Arms Hotel, comments: “This is more than a refurbishment – it’s a reinvention. We’ve created a space that reflects Warwick’s heritage while offering a modern, welcoming experience for everyone. Whether you’re joining us for a weekend stay, a festive meal, or a quiet drink, we’re here to make it memorable.
“The hotel is now open for bookings, just in time for the festive season. Guests can look forward to seasonal menus, cosy winter stays, and celebratory gatherings in the newly refurbished spaces. Whether you’re planning a Christmas lunch, a weekend escape, or simply popping in for a mulled wine by the fire, The Warwick Arms is ready to welcome you.”
Adam Charity, Chief Operating Officer of The Coaching Inn Group, adds: “Restoring an historic property like The Warwick Arms and breathing new life into its timeless charm is a privilege. Its reopening comes at an exciting time for The Coaching Inn Group, fresh from being named Hotel Group of the Year by Which?. We can’t wait to share this beautiful hotel with guests old and new as part of our award-winning collection.”
